Okay, have to just resign to fate. I don’t have a lot of breast milk to store for weeks.
In my fridge, there are only 12-15 milk bags and besides feeding Asher my breast milk, I have to give him 30% of formula milk to make up his daily intakes. How sad… All right, now I will just keep expressing my milk, hmm… can’t tell how long will I be able to give him my EBM but hopefully, 6 months? * I will definetely reward myself if I can make it *
As I am not storing any of my EBM in my freezer, it is so wasted to keep getting milk bags and dispose them within the next 3 days, I decided to get glass bottles !

Wow! I am amazed she took so many glass bottles, still got the cheek to sell.
Hi Diana, I used to give EBM to my 3 kids (1 boy & 2 twin gals)…alot of extra for my 1st but no extras for my twins…
The milk for freezing has to be placed right inside the freezer and can keep up to 2-3 mths…but after 1 mth, the taste changed and my boy refused it…I tink the taste will change once it’s frozen..
and for milk in the fridge, it can be stored up to 48 hrs..after tat better dun give bb, in case tummyache…i’ll drink it or get hubby to drink it with tea or coffee…so no wastage…
it’s pretty tedious to calculate…usually keep about 1-2 days worth of milk in the fridge and any extra, freeze it.
i always feed the older milk 1st..though my mum always complain and ask me to give him the fresh milk…:P
Hi Diana, I know different source will give you different information. Anyway, I stored them for 7 days in the fridge. My gal drank them and has no problem too. But I am mindful to store them right inside. For the freezer, I stored them for 3 months. =) Still having sore nipple? Try to latch on. =)
No.. the glass bottles will not break. I did it before. My proof: http://chew-household.blogspot.com/2008/05/milk-milk-and-more-milk.html
hehee!=)
Your sis is right.. don’t keep opening the fridge. =)
Yes… I used many bottles at my peak…. Do you know that milk supply is at its peak between 4-5am? The lactation nurse at Mt Alvernia told me when I was in hospital. =)
Oh dear – I never express milk at this hour. Only for 1 week when Caleb has jaundice cannot come down, doc want him to try formula, then i was super diligent every 3 hours wake up to express.
