Applying A Passport for Asher

Ben : Wamee, I need to go Shanghai.
Diana : Okay. Why?
Ben : I need to give a presentation.
Diana : Okay. When?
Ben : Early June.
Diana : Asher will be 8 mo. Don’t worry, I can take care of him by myself.
Ben : I know. Do you think I can bring Asher along?
Diana : ….(silent) My Visa is dead.
Ben : Apply again. Oh, Asher and I don’t need Visa.
Diana : I know !
So, Daddy Ben surprised me with an unplanned trip (for Asher) day before yesterday! He even suggested to have grandparents and Aunty Ju flying with us. Since I’ve been there myself and did a simple F & E trip in 2007, I think I can bring them around the city and get a guided tour to Hangzhou. Oh my, I already started to plan the itinerary ! I still remember when we went there in 2007, Ben said he wants to come back for 2010 World Expo 上海世博会. He must be very excited. 
As for me, is 大娘水饺 ! 淮海中路 ! 南京東路 ! and we missed a few things – 东方明珠塔 ! 宋庆龄故居 ! 周恩來故居 !
Well, I think bringing my little 8 mo for a short trip shouldn’t be difficult. I remember Douglas was 9 mo when he went for his trip UK trip, Michaela & Stefanie flew to Singapore from UK when they were 2 mo. Mummies who brought your infants out of country before please share with me what to bring, what must bring …. Thank You !!!

really ar…you also going during that period? hehehe….I am glad to know that the weather is good. I don’t know what(clothes) to buy for asher, sekali bought the wrong clothes/jacket then jialat…

check the temperature when is nearer…. I can help u to ask my Shanghai counrter part when is nearer then you decided what to bring over….. I ever been there during June, and i remembered I wear as per what I was wearing in Singapore…. very comfortable weather… but again, u know lah, now weather also a bit “siao” de….
Let me know where u stay later on… if I am there, hahaha… see whether can meet up or not…. i could be staying in Pudong or Puxi… heehee…..

Last time we stayed at St Regis, pudong, walking distance to his office. But I was told last year his colleagues stayed in different hotel. 
we will talk about this when the date is nearer..hehe

ok ok…. if i am travelling w my swiss boss then, I will be staying in Shangrila in Pudong… let’s hope our date can meet…

Our family travel patterns are really similar! Aussie – Bangkok – Hongkong – Batam etc and USA 2008, Taiwan 2009
My hb is also planning to go Shanghai Expo this year and also looking at early June (cos my sister’s wedding is on last weekend of May).
But the main difference is…I’m not going with him 
Been to SH a few times so I shall skip this round and stay home with 4M. Also to save money cos I am going Bali (Mar) and Bangkok (Aug) with my girlfriends.
Family vacation – also thinking of Australia/Korea. We planning after my sister’s wedding in May. They are only going for their Europe HM next year so we wanna squeeze in another family trip again
Asher is such a lucky baby. Gotta see the world at 8mo!

A but leceh to bring Asher, my dad wanted to go Hainan island with my relatives in June! I soooooo scare I cannot manage the little naughty one. Then ben said the presentation is just gonna be few hours and the rest of the time is ours! He is not going to work from 9-6pm like before. Let’s hope so laaaaa.
Lucky? Haha, waste money leh, he doesn’t even know a thing yet!! Flying by SQ is approx 1.5k for 2 of us.

Shanghai! hahaha…. early Jun weather still not so bad, shd be comfortable…. hehe.. I may be there too! hahaha….u know hor, I been there for so many times and yet I never tried 大娘水饺…. faint! Up the 东方明珠塔 is nice…. ;p Go on the day when weather is clear, then u can nice sights, else is all “covered”…..
