Not my first attempt cooking prawn paste chicken but this batch is a lot better compares to the previous try. My darlings said the chicken meat is not tough, well marinated and some parts are crispy after 2 hours. 

I was too ashamed to the photo when I first tried cooking this, it was so bad, so bad that I thought of giving up trying this recipe again. 

I swear I’m going to oil fry prawn paste chicken if I were to cook them but first, I need a pot that can be used for frying. (FYI, I have only one medium stainless steel pot for soup/sauce and a happycall pan in my kitchen. 😁
