We should have gotten ourselves a wedding coordinator like the newlywed to make our wedding celebration a perfect one huh. Well, at least we know what to print on our invites as many years later, we then found out some made a big din over what’s missing in our invites. TO BE BL**DY HONEST, we didn’t know what is a BIG matter. Now you spot the mistake
I remembered I lost so much weight as I was so freaking exhausted and stressed over my whole wedding preparation and I lost my voice on our wedding day, yeah, I didn’t give any speech to thank anyone and SLAP me hard for not asking Ben to draft out his speech as (someone reminded me) he forgot to thank my parents.
Some said, one mustn’t look at the price tags when you want a big fat wedding. Okay, partially correct. But again, a wedding couldn’t be perfect without the present of immediate families, families and close friends. I almost cried when I saw the “VIP Tables”, both parents were present. In my heart, I told myself, that’s it ! EVERYONE CAN BE ABSENT BUT NOT PARENTS. NO ONE CAN REPLACE my father, he was suppose to be attending my wedding, my one and only wedding celebration. And why is he not there? Just 3 days to our big day, he was advised to go to the hospital and got himself admitted, thinking that he could discharge in time for our wedding. Do we blame our dad? No, because I know he was clueless at that point of time.
When I saw the well-decorated table, I think the crew had done a great job to make this happen. I looked forward the ceremony.
Learnt from my own mistakes, I realise that I shouldn’t overestimate my ability and should have just leave everything to wedding coordinator. Well, what really matter is our lives after the big day. 🙂 That night, the wedding couple were too busy and we only managed to wish them and thank them before we left the place. We were honoured to be invited and the wedding ceremony was so touching. Hope to hear good news from them. 🙂
Opps, Sorry for the long winded post, enjoy the photos :
I’m glad we made a right choice to stay at J Boutique Hotel before we check-in at Ayodya Resort!
It’s awesome!! The environment, the resort, the staff… Of course, it doesn’t come cheap.
Thanks to the newlyweds for the complimentary stay, Ben was asking me to check if we could come back next time. Yeah, even before we walked into our room! Well, maybe I will come back here, if we ran out of holiday destination 😛 I still prefer autumn/winter holiday.
It’s simple – you hire one driver to ferry you anywhere you want. But I wasn’t lucky to get this fella. Oh well, I tried not to whine and compare but be prepared, this is going to be a complaint post.:)
1st stop – Tohpati for Batik. This is nothing new to those who grown up in Malaysia. I’m not impressed and skipped the “shopping” area.
2nd stop – Celuk for silver smith
No photo, imaging how “sian” when I got the feeling of… kena con. Terrible workmanship with ridiculous price tags. Waste our time.
3rd stop – Batuan Village Temple. Sigh, what a temple, nothing compare to those at Kintamani or Bersikih but he simply “refused to bring” claiming that is very far.
Lunch with padi field view – dirty duck. I wanted to try their famous babi guling (suckling pig) but he brought us to a very packed restaurant and told us we gotta wait for very long, when I asked if there is another restaurant, he said no. But the fact is – there are everywhere but he doesn’t eat pork so we were brought here to let people “chop” as this restaurant, again is not the authentic restaurant selling their famous “dirty duck”.
5th stop – Tegallalang to view rice terraces, driver wanted us to pay for parking fee but he also told us we were running out of time so we snapped photo in the car. 😦
The only thing that comfort me – I saw durian and Ben said we can buy some ! But, he brought us here to let her friend chop, $10 bucks for a durian so we decided to take a big one.
For the last few holiday, I remember our flight departed at odd hour hence we had to book a cab to ferry us to airport. This time round, both of us had at least 7 hours sleep before we hailed a cab. 🙂 I’m tired but not this tired.
We checked in 2 hours in advance but still, the time for our meal and shopping is still not enough ! I couldn’t find the perfume I wanted but managed to grab this 30min before gate closed. My first Cherry Blossom Shimmering Lotion from L’OCCITANE !!!
We were the first family who board the plane, because we were given hot seats. I didn’t know these seats have got bigger room leg and spacious. The first time we took this seat (during our flight to Phuket) I was telling Ben how worthy to get budget flight as everything is the same expect the plane is smaller and no meals provided. Until we flew back, the stupid woman gave us the back seat and we had to sit separately then I found out how squeezy the seats are!!
So, what’s the trick of getting extra seat( for our not-so-infant but paying infant rate ) – be extra nice to the staff and flight attendant. It works most of the time if the flight is not full.:)))
